I had a sweep done on thursday at 38+1 and so far ive had no change either hun..ive not lost a thing either. Midwife said i was completely thinned out and soft and 1cm before she performed the sweep..after the sweep she said i was 2cm almost 3. Ive tried walking and nipple stimulation..i think baby is gunna come when shes ready and not before xx

I had 2 sweeps with my first, the first one my body just want ready to go into labour. The second one took about 12 hours before I was holding my baby in my arms! For me, I also didn't find it a painful experience and she was pretty thorough!

I had a sweep last Tuesday at 40+1 weeks. It hasn't worked for me up to now. I'm having a 2nd sweep tomorrow at 41+1 weeks. My cervix was closed lastweek when she did the sweep & I've had no signs that labour is coming. It didn't hurt for me, I couldn't feel her actually do the sweep itself

I had a sweep with my first at about 9 am and 10 pm that night my water broke. It did hurt. I think the more aggressive they are the more of the mucus plug they get out (which is what you want) to help progress labor. I had my son the next day at 3:39pm. I suggest walking thru the pain and staying active. I went to the mall and did some cleaning, I had a feeling he would be here soon.  So don't doubt it continue to do labor tricks. Good luck! ♡ :)

I had a sweep, didn't hurt. Depends on how aggressive the doctor is. I have had doctors be gentle, and others hurt like hell. I had a sweep last week, and it did nothing for me. Sitting at 39 weeks and 2 cm.

I have heard of those and how painful they can be. Hopefully it works well for you and that pain was worth it, good luck!
