Swimming ?

Hi, I'm 26-weeks pregnant and I went to the beach this week with my husband. I couldn't resist the beautiful blue water and I went in. Water was calm with almost no waves and I didn't exhaust myself. People now are telling me that salty water is dangerous and it might cause early labour.
Is that right? I'm terrified.

I remember being pregnant with my first and asking that question. My doc told me swimming was fine and even good for us to keep our body temp right during the heat. But ask your doc if you want piece of mind.  The are so many things ppl well say that will start labor or miscarry, we have to learn what is what rather than just believe.
