How far along an I???

Ok so lmp was 31 October. Took a hpt and it was positive on 27 November. Took a few more during the week and weekend and all positive.

I had an ultrasound today and they said the fetus was measuring 5w4d. My question is, that means they are saying I conceived approximately 3w4d ago but my hpt was positive 3 weeks ago.

Can you get a positive hpt a couple of days after conception or could the ultrasound be out? Also could she have been going by fetal age not gestational age?

Really stuck here. Am I 5 and a half or 7 and a half weeks pregnant?

Also my partner was away at the time but we had sex every day leading up to when he went away (a few days before I apparently conceived). Could the sperm have lived in me for a few days and then become fertilized and then I tested positive a few days later?

Thank you

Sperm can live inside you for a few days!  But usually ultrasounds are right, unless you yourself are small the baby could be on the smaller side too! Good luck and congratulations!

I had a scan at what I thought would of been over 12 weeks last lmp was 3rd may so I used an online calculator and got 7th Feb scan date gave me 17th so a 10 day difference which is slightly annoying lol and I can see why your confused if your suppose to go with lmp your baby might just be small so measuring smaller on scans, are you small yourself?
