Thought to be 8 weeks but ultrasound said 6

Good Day

I am pregnant. 2 weeks ago I went to my doctor he did an internal scan,, we saw a gestational and yolk. He said everything looks fine. He dated as 6-7 weeks and told me to come back in 2 weeks. I went in yesterday thinking I was 8 weeks, he did another internal scan, we saw baby and heartbeat but couldn't hear as he said its still small and moving around alot. He said I'm only 6-7 weeks now. He didn't seem worried and said I must relax and come in a month time. Everything looks good.

I am just worried as I took an OPK on the 11th of July and me and my husband were intimate on the 12th. Is my baby growing smaller or did I have late implantation?

Thanks

A similar thing happened to me too... I thought i was around 8 weeks and went to the doctor he couldn't see anything, told me I was around 5 weeks and told me to come back in a week. I went back after 2 weeks and sure enough baby was there with a strong heatbeat 7w4d. I'm irregular so i might have ovulated later on. I believe you're fine too maybe the first time you we're 5 weeks and that's why you couldn't see anything. I'll be praying for you. God bless you!

I thought I was around 11-12 weeks my first ultrasound, I was only 8w6d. So i figured I ovulated late. The funny thing is I ended up having him earlier. based off the first due date and not the ultrasound

The important thing is you saw a heartbeat which is a great sign. Once you go in, in a month it should ease you're worries.

Your worries way too much. It's probably that u ovulated late n what it takes for implantation.
