Baby weighing low at 32 weeks.. please help..

I just came back from my bi weekly checkup and the technician said that my baby is weighing below average. He was 2.6 lbs during my 29th week visit and today he was 3.2 lbs at 32 weeks. Doctor says baby would be little small as my husband (5 ft 7)  and i(5 ft 1) are quite small. So she did not seem worried. But i would be be seeing her every week from now.

Also i have borderline Diabetes. Not sure if i have overdone my GD diet which isnt helping my baby's weight.

It would be great if any of you could share your thoughts or experience. Its just freaking me out. I feel like i am doing something wrong. :(

First 6 months i had no issues. I could even forget that i am preggo. But ever since the 7th month started, seems like my life is full of challenges. GD, monster-in-law tantrums and now this weight issue.

I will try my best to stay positive and eat more just avoiding anything that could affect my sugar level. Feeling so emotional and upset :(

You still have plenty of time, he just might not be ready for his big growth spurt. Dont stress too much. My friend has 3 kids, all were 40+ weeks and between 5-6 lbs. Some people just have little babies.

I had to eat something literally every 2 to 3 hours. I did carrots n ranch  kind of snacks. Did breakfast every morning 8-9, lunch 12-1 and dinner 6-7. Then a snack before bed. Downside i gained weight but they also pulled me from work at the same time so they might have helped with the weight gain also. I went from average a 5% a1c to a 5.9. Good luck tho...its fustrating and i still checked every morning and when i felt wierd

Thank you so much for replying!! Yes i was initially checking my sugar level 4 times until last week. After i started my GD diet, my sugar level was quite low. So GD consultant asked me to loosen up the diet a little and also now i have to test the sugar level once in every 4 days.

It would be great help if you could tell me what was the change/step that you took to make sure baby was getting enough nutrition? I have another 56 days. Just hoping to do as much possible for my baby. And thank you so much for replying.

That could b true with the gd...they had me to regulated and had to change mine bc my body was cutting her off of food to keep me up. Have you been pay attention to your numbers? Once they fixed mine within a month my baby had almost caught up and now 2 months later she is just a lil big...hitting in the 60th percentile. We are getting induced in a few days
