This is just my opinion so please keep this in mind...being that you are 21, there is a huge chance that you will not be the same woman at 31.  People change and **** happens and you don't have to take my word for it, just keep living ma. Birth control is a great alternative!

Most states wont do it unless you had 3 or more kids. Especially when youre so young. My friend is 23 and just had her 5th child and they FINALLY let her get her tubes tied. She wanted them tied after #3....but here they wouldn't let her. Go on birth control and be careful. Good luck

I would get them tied not burned just in case you later want kids..I know girls they didn't want kids now they do and they burnt their rubes and now regret it.

Yea idk about age limitations ect but my mom had her tubes cut burnt and tied after having my brother but she was 27 till she had him. It was successful for her though and she has had no problems.

I don't know where you live but in NY you have to be 25 or have 3 kids to have that or your tubes tied.

Lol I didn't even notice my typos. I've never been through it but I've had friends who have done both Essure and loved it which is what I'm doing as well as others who had tubal ligation and loved it. My neighbor recently had the ligation (cut and burn) in the hospital literally right after baby came out.  They put baby on boob let her rest and within an hour they were incising her side using only the epidural and a local.  She said it was painless and quick.  Now she said it's life as normal her only complaint is she is gaining rather then losing weight and she is a crazy healthy person.  I've never heard of problems with sex or pain beyond 6 weeks of the actual surgery.  If it's what you want and I don't blame you 4 is my limit as well, I would ask your Dr before looking online for reviews usually it's only the people with bad experiences that post reviews on those review sites. It never mentions the thousands who had good experiences.  I think whatever you decide as long as you take care to recover properly you will be fine.

If you have it in the hospital after baby chances are they won't put you uber just use the spinal you already have.  It shouldn't affect more then your tubes, sex will be fine after since it is 2 different body parts.  The only thing I've heard as far as issues would be young girls having it done and regretting it later.  But I'm not judging based on age it's just what I've heard.  Speak with your Dr they will let you know what their plan is prior to delivery as its a slightly different procedure of you do it in the hospital after birth.  Good luck
