Just found I was pregnant now I'm bleeding and passing little tissue

Hello everyone. I just took a pregnancy test this past Thursday after missing my period and it came out positive! Have been trying to conceive for the past year and am so excited. Well yesterday I noticed some brown discharge in my underwear, and panicked. I went to the emergency room and they told me I was too early in the pregbancy to tell exactly what was going on. I have passed some tissue, lots of little spec dust like tissue. And today I am bleeding a bit more, still brown though. I was labeled as a threatened miscarriage. I am so sad and scared that my baby has not made it. I still have bloated feeling and tender sore breasts. I also have been cramping, but not bad at all.

This would be my first pregnancy, and I am 25 years old. Has anyone had this happen?

My last missed period was may 14. I believe to be about 4 weeks or so.

Yes, that was my last regular period.

The fact that your breasts are still tender is a very good sign.  I had two early miscarriages,  and that's how they began - with loss of breast tenderness.  

When you say your last "missed" period was May 14,  do you mean actually that that was your last regular period?
