a little worried..
This might so crazy but yesterday i went to an ultrasound (33 weeks) and i saw on the screen a picture of a hole and the tech clicked on it and took a picture. Now i cant stop thinking about it and wish i asked what it was..
Yeah my tech isnt allowed to tell me anything so i have to wait till the 28th my next dr appt
It probably isn't anything to worry about but just to let you know, the ultrasound techs aren't supposed to tell you much of what they see. They can say the gender and tell you that there is hand, etc. But they can't tell you if they see anything abnormal. They leave that to your doctor to diagnose and say. The techs can only take pics of anything suspicious and pass them along to be analyzed. The fluid around baby, organs and other things, can look like holes even though everything is fine so it's probably nothing!! Call for reassurance if you must though.
If it was black and round, it was probably the stomach or bladder.
I agree with emilee. it was probably bladder, kidney, stomach, or diaphragm. I get ultrasounds often because I'm having twins and my tech always.explains exactly what she's looking at each time. they will look dark like a hole on the screen and that's when they take a picture so the doctor can study it in contrast
Was it in the baby? It definitly could be heart, bladder, kidneys. All things they look at regularly
A hole could just be and organ if it was zoomed out when you saw it, or fuild the baby is swallowing. If the doctor didn't say anything about it there's no need to worry.

I would call and ask just to ease your mind instead if stressing over it..I'm sure if it was something major they would of had you see the doctor about it. Try to relax :) ~ best wishes
I bet if its something risky or important they'll let you know what it was. I don't think you need to worry to much as most of this scan always looks funny. But if you want to be 100% sure you can call to find out if everything is ok. X
