dizzy and heart racing?

Just a few minutes ago I had the strongest contraction I've ever felt. To the point where I couldn't move. I'm 39wks and 4 days. Now I'm dizzy and my heart is racing. I'm not sure if I should call my doc. Haven't felt another contraction it's been at least 10mins since that contractions.

When in doubt it is always good to call. When it comes to the baby you can't be too safe :)

The dizziness hasn't passed and I haven't had another contraction.  I think I'm going to call my doc.

That happens to me. It's not a fun feeling at all. I just have to sit down and wait for it to pass. Usually it lasts about 20 minutes or so then passes. If concerned it's always good to call your doctor, but it's not uncommon. If there are other symptoms I'd be more worried, but the dizziness is probably just blood rushing back after the contraction.
