please please help me
Hello ladies I'm a ftm of 38 weeks going on 39 in like 2 days and I'm only 1cm dilated and 50% effaced my Dr told me that next week he was gonna talk to me about induction and I'm scared I don't wanna go thru that or possibly get a c section :( so can any of you give me any tips as to what you all did to dilate or go into labor fast please please help me
Try and relaxing. Mom stressing = baby stressing. Do not let your doctor force you into something you do not feel comfortable with. With my first I was 40 weeks and not dilated at all. I went into labor 40+5. Walking helps, sex, nipple stimulation. I have heard bouncing on a medicine ball helps. You will have your little bundle here before you know it.
You can say no. They don't need to induce you unless you are 2 weeks overdue or have medical problems. But lots of walking, sex, nipple stimulation all help if baby is ready to come.
