Go to the doctor! I had brown discharge the whoke time with my first pregnancy for 3 weeks and ended up having a tubal pregnancy that blew out my tube. Im pregnant now and cramping hoping its not a miscarraige.  Good luck to you!

Well was still testing positive last night but started bleeding heavy red flow with small clots. So looks like I'm miscarrying. No cramps tho. Checked my cervix myself & feel open. Gutted.

They can test your harmone levels to see if they r where their supposed to be. They can check your cervix to see if its still closed. And they can even do an ultra soumd to see if ur uturis is thickening. There isnt much they can do to intervine at this stage though. I have a history of early term miscarriages....you may have to push for something. . I have had to...

If that's all your doctor is telling you I'd be heading too the er they won't give you an ultrasound bcuz your so early and they wouldn't see much anyways but they can draw your blood and see what your hormone levels are and might be able to tell by what they should be. I've been to the er twice with previous pregnancies that ended in miscarriages but they really didn't tell me right then they did a vaginal exam to see if my cervix was open and to see if they could tell where the blood was coming from and then told me everything looked fine and to see my doctor within a few says i went back to my doc and they drew my blood again and my levels had dropped so that's when they told me u was miscarrying.  I hope everything is alright for you. The brown blood is "old blood" but the stringy things kinda sound like they could be clots but I'm not saying they are so don't quote me on that! And really try to stay calm it's really hard but if everything turns out okay then all your doing is stressing you and baby out so try not to think about it so much good luck i really how everything is alright :)
