38-40 weeks is considered term. 35-37 is considered late preterm.

Last thing adopted by the APA is 39 weeks. That is when a baby is considered full term but in the end it really depends on the baby's growth. It could be fully grown and ready to come out earlier than this.
ACOG and SMFM now define a full-term pregnancy as a pregnancy that lasts between 39 weeks, 0 days and 40 weeks 6 days.
After 36 weeks baby is fine my seven year old was born at 36 weeks and weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces
My doctor says 38 weeks to 40 weeks if full term.
I think it varies slightly, but in general 37 weeks is considered full term.
