When Must One Pre-Register???

Im 34 wks & 4days pg and i still havent pre-register at the hospital...
When do i have to do it??? Cause im waiting on my Ob/Gyn

Myhospital calledme at 37 weeks and did everything over the phone and I signed. Papers at my 38 week appt withthe doctor

You can do it when you go on the hospital tour, well if your doing the hospital tour.

The hospital I'm going to asks patients to do it when they are 36wks. My last hospital didn't have you pre register at all.

My ob gives out packets from the hospital at 24 weeks to pre register. I would do it before you go into labor for sure. That way it's 1 less thing to think about when you hit that point

I just started looking at pre-reg stuff as well and im 33 weeks and 5 days :) I feel so behind...I havent done anything!

You can register when your in labor but I dont think you want to be filling out papers when your in pain. My obgyn has us register once we hit 15 weeks. I would register now to get it out of the way :)
