I too am currently dealing with the same issue with my placenta being a bit low. I found this out at my 18week ultrasound so she scheduled me to come back tomorrow when I will be 21 weeks to see if it had moved on its own (praying to god that it has moved). She reassured me that the chances of it moving on its own is very high and I'd be able to deliver naturally. But worst case scenario is a csection if it doesn't move. It's very scary. But just keep praying and try not to stress too much over it.
Hi there. I also have a low placenta (placenta previa).
Unfortunetly nothing you have done made it that way and there is nothing you can do to fix it.
Your placenta will naturally move up on its own. But it has until 36 weeks to move or they will schedule you for an early ultrasound.
Don't be alarmed because from my understanding is a high percentage of placentas move on it's own and it's just kind of a waiting game at this point.
Placenta previa can be extremely dangerous which is why the baby needs to be taken out via section. I was devastated when I heard that but I would rather go through a csection that put any risk to my baby.
Good luck xoxox
That is something you would definitely have to speak with your Dr about. They will tell you what precautions to take and whether you will be able to deliver naturally.
