When to buy?

Hello! I am 23w3d and expecting my 2nd child. My daughter is now 11. I was wondering when you began to buy all of your baby stuff? I don't want to start too early, but I also don't want to be buying everything last minute.

I bought some baby girl clothes a couple weeks after we found out her gender. Just cause I was really excited to be having another girl! We didn't buy anything else at all. Because I was having a baby shower. So if you're going to have one as well, I'd wait to buy anything till afterthat. So you don't end up buying things other people will buy for you instead. We ended up getting just about everything we needed at my baby shower too. Which I was exactly 1 month before my due date. If you're not having a baby shower, if recommend buying a little bit of what you need here and there thru out your whole pregnancy. Otherwise, you'll end up having to get it all at once and that's very expensive! Also, you should buy a pack of diapers at least twice a month. Good luck!

I started to buy as soon as I found out what I was having. I started buying the expensive things first. Most clothes and stuff I will wait on cause I'm having a big baby shower

Yeah I agree 8 months is pushing it.....I would start sooner

I would most definitely not wait until you are 8 months. What if you go into preterm labor? I had my son at 7.5 months. Luckily I had all but a few small things bought already. Better safe than sorry. Plus you can spread the expenses over several months rather than all at once.

Im 23 weeks i started getting a few every paycheck once i found out she was a girl so it wont cost so much in the end.

i say buy wen uu hit 8 months thats perfect timing ...simply because once uu have your next appt uu can tell what the baby will final weigh
