Woke up from bad cramping

I woke up from a dead sleep last night with really bad cramping.  The kind that makes you sweat and feel like your going to pass out. I'm around 7 weeks and have had no bleeding this far. Do I need to be concerned?

I had the same problem, I was in fetal position, crying like a baby.I was told that cramping is absolutely normal and the only reason to worry is if it's followed by blood, spotting is okay, but actual blood like a period is a bad sign.Good luck to you and I'm happy you're not bleeding.Your uterus is just expanding and getting ready.

Hi there.  I'm sorry you are having this pain and are cramping like this.  I'm glad you are bleeding!  but I would say when cramping is 'that' intense that it is waking you, causing you to sweat and feel like you might pass out, this is not a good sign.  That is outside of the normal 'period like' cramps some women have.  You can give your doctor a call but at 7 weeks, there isn't much they can do.  Have you had an ultrasound or anything?

Anyway, sorry for your pain and what it might mean but try to remain hopeful!
