7 weeks

This is my first and I am about 7 weeks. My first appointment is at 11 weeks. My doctor saw me to strictly answer any questions. I am frustrated I have weeks until the first appointment. What can I expect to be done at 11 weeks? Will I be showing yet?

You may get a abdominal ultrasound. I always have at my 8 or 12 week scan. This is baby number 2 and both times I have never gotten a vaginal past week 6 or so

I didn't see my doctor at all until 9 weeks, although I found out I was pregnant and made the appointment around 4 weeks. She gave me a ton of info, asked me a ton of questions, and did a check and a couple tests. I didn't have an ultrasound until 11 weeks.

Your ultrasound will be more clear at 11weeks. They will be able to measure baby and hear a heart beat. I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and it was sooo tiny but did hear the heart beat. It will be worth it to wait because you only get 2 ultrasounds !!

The waiting can drive you insane. 1st visit is the lame one. Pregnancy test, std test, etc. but anyways CONGRATS

Thank you! Is it odd I'm not seeing her until 11 weeks?

Your dr will do an ultrasound (probably vaginally because baby will be too small to see on your stomach). They will give you a due date, check your urine and do blood work, check your weigh and blood pressure.  I think that's about it. No you will not be showing yet, you probably will not show til around 18-20 weeks maybe even later.  Congrats and I hope this helps
