27wks want doc to take me out on leave :-(

Hello everyone. I will be 7 months next Wednesday and have been so miserable. I'm very petite and I'm carrying this huge belly and it hurts and it's exhausting. I'm not due until August 27th and my baby's head has been down for about a month now. Isn't that to soon. Or is she to big to flip.  I wish my doc would take me out of work but every time I go to an appointment and tell them about my pains they just say ok and send me on my way. What can I say to get them to listen and take me seriously.

Thanks for everyone's advice and comments. I'm just being a big baby lol I wasn't this uncomfortable early on with my son than I am now with my daughter.  Plus I think because I had my son almost 8 years ago plays a part. Good luck to everyone.

Doctors took me out of work at 20 weeks because I'm a high risk pregnancy. Doctors didn't listen to me when I said the pain I was having didn't seem normal. Then at the second level ultrasound, I had to be rushed to the hospital because I was about to lose my baby girl. If you are not a high risk pregnancy, it is unlikely that they will game you out of work. Trust me, I'm so bored staying home every day. I had been on disability now for 9 weeks and I have absolutely nothing to do! It gets old real quick. Plus, you could use the money for when the baby comes. My husband and I are now on Andre super tight budget because I'm not getting as much from disability as I would working.

Yeah, it just comes with being pregnant. It's doubtful her head has been down for a month straight. They move a lot. But either way it doesn't mean much, just how they prefer to be in there. The Drs have to medically support taking you out of work and you asking for maternity leave/ short term disability/ whatever, and without a medical reason other than "she's tired", they will get denied. I know it *****... just their hands are kind of tied. Hang in there!!

I was working until I hit week 34. Im a very small girl as well. Carrying a rather big baby! I just rested when I needed to and bought a belly band to help. I was I  quite a bit of pain as well but have had a completely normal pregnancy. So I wasnt allowed leave before my leave actually started with my job.

Baby can move a few times before the end of Aug. Not sure what you can tell them to take you off work being uncomfortable they just see as part of the last bit of pregnancy. Usually they only take you off for medical reasons like preterm labour high blood pressure things like that. Hope you can figure something out to help. Goodluck
