anti depressants and pregnancy

I've had depression for as long as I can remember.  Most the time it's manageable.  I stopped meds last year so we could conceive and I was doing great.  Now I'm almost 13 weeks along and my depression has gotten worse.  I'm hoping it will balance out in the 2nd trimester.  My question is has anyone taking meds while pregnant?  What was side effects and regrets if any. I'm scared to hurt my baby if I take an it depressants during pregnancy.

I got off of my medication when trying to conceive but my doctor told me zolft was safe if I felt that I needed to go back on something.

I was on Zoloft for depression after having my son and stopped taking it when I found out I was pregnant this time around. The depression came back in full force, and I was given a script for the Zoloft again the first night I took it I had a horrible migraine and my baby didn't move at all so I decided to stick it out without the meds. I'd rather my baby be safe and not have to go through anything and I'll just have to manage until delivering.. good luck! They'll be good days and bad, hopefully more good than bad

I take effexor for depression and anxiety. When I was pregnant with my son, there weren't any studies about its effects, not sure about now. In speaking with the doctor, I decided to continue them. He was born full term and healthy. I just found out I'm pregnant again and have every intention on staying on my meds.
