Painless Contractions

I am 38w3d and I'm having painless contractions every 4-6 minutes. My doctor said nnot to call unless they are 5 minutes apart and they are unbearable. Any thoughts?

I've had 3 vaginal deliveries, and had little to no pain. Pressure n discomfort but not pain even after my water broke. I was so mentally scared of the pain to come, I had epidurals before needing them, and never experienced a painful delivery.  (All were done between 5-6cm dilated) so it is possible to be n active labor n no pain. Good luck momma n lil one.

I'm 39W... I Lost My Plug At About 33W... I've Been Having Contractions Since 30W, And Ever Since I've Had To Go In Every Week To Be Put On Monitor And To Be Checked.
My Dr Says My Contractions Are Gettinq Stronqer Each Time. However.....
I DON'T FEEL ANYTHING AT ALL.
I Have Back Pain And I've Been Having Leg Cramps Today But Nothing Like OMG Take Me To Hospital .
But , My Mom With Her Last Pregnancy She Was Fine Didn't Have Pain Or Anythinq She Just Had Slimy Stuff When She Wiped After Bathroom. She Had Already Lost Her Plug So She Didn't Know What It Was. She Finally Went Into The Hospital To See And She Was At A 7 !
She Wasn't Feing Her Contractions Or Any Pain Whatsoever Till She Was At A 9.
And I Know Every Preqnancy Is Different But Honestly I've Been Wondering Lately If I'll Be Like Her....
So, If Your Having Just Mild Back Pain Hun Go In To See Just Incase.
I'm Thinking Myself If I Should Go In To Get Checked Cause I Don't Wanna Pop Her Out At Home Lol.
But With Whatever Happens, I Wish You Luck And A Safe/Easy Delivery With A Healthy Baby ! (;

currently 36.5 weeks pregnant with my third....with my first i was induced...but with my second my contractions were not painfull at all, needless to say i timed tgem and after being 1-2 minutes appart for about two hours i decided to go to hospital just in case and turned out i waa dialated to 6cm and i had my son about 4-5 hours after walking into the hospital. better to be safe than sorry...had i not gone in i would have probably had him at home. the worse that can happen is they'll check you and if you're not dialating or registering as contractions they'll send you home. best of luck:-) congrats on your little one

Sounds like a waiting game then. Hopefully by Sunday both our babies will be here.

Well he said if there isn't any pain, then they are false-Braxton Hicks. I'm feeling pressure and discomfort but absolutely no pain.

My 1st water broke, 2nd mucus plug came out for 3 days then the contractions came and were unbearable and I went into labor on the 4th day, #3 mucus plug came out at once. We will see when the fun starts.
It sounds like your totally there and if the pain gets worse I would go to ER because your probably finally dialated.

The rule of thumb I read on another app says if you have 6 or more in an hour that are painful then go in. Just to let you know I had the same thing for my last baby pretty much for a week but as soon as my water broke they got painful and came really fast. Hope that helps good luck!!

This is my first. I've been on bed rest for 8 days. My cervix is thinned but as of Monday I  not dilated. I don't think I'd mind if my water breaks at home but I'm wearing a pad daily. Laying down, sitting, standing, walking it all is uncomfortable at this point. I can't sleep well either.

I am also 38W3Days and in the same boat as you and this is #3 for me. I keep getting stomach tightening totally weird. My Mucus plug fell out yesterday. Very hard to get up and lay down and can't walk hardly at all. I don't want my water breaking at home unless in the toilet or shower for easy cleaning. Lol We just got to hang in there I guess. Good Luck its very exciting.
