I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow and I'm due 4/3. My baby shower is going to be held on 2/28. I wanted to have some time before I possibly go into labor to still buy what I don't receive as gifts. Hopefully this helps. Ultimately though, it's up on you. Best of luck!

It's completely up to you if you are doing on your own maybe a month in a half in advance  would be good that way you are not under any extra stress.

Thank you. But should I have it a month before my due date or a little closer to my due date?

If you are planning it yourself try to get someone to help you that you trust to takeover if it gets overwhelming.

Get your guest list together set a date, send out invites at least a month in advance, pick what food and drinks you want, decide whether you will have games or do something different, get party favors, and a desert. If you want pick a theme and decorations.
