confused..

Yesterday my doc did my internal examination nd she told me that my baby is very low and told me to have bed rest..its my frst baby nd i m 32 wk i jst want to knw that if my baby is low so wil it take less time during labor i mean wil my baby take less tym..??

Not really. Your baby is supposed to be low, but youre still early, hence the bed rest. It probably won't effect labor time.

I think the bed rest is silly.  Usually babies "drop" towards the end its completely normal and common. unless she said you dilated a lot or something I wouldn't expect bed rest to make a difference. So bc your baby is lower before delivery doesn't necessarily mean an faster or easier delivery. For all you know baby could be too big.to fit through the birth canal and need a csection. But that's just saying anything can really happen during delivery. You sure she didn't say pelvic rest? That'd  make more sense..
