Thank you all so much! I had no idea where to start. I appreciate the advice.
Have a diapers raffle at your baby shower.

I suggest not getting more than 1 package of newborn diapers until your baby is born because if your baby is big then you'll need size 1. If you're stocking up you can get diapers in all sizes since you'll definitely need them all at some point. And you may as well buy cases in sizes 1 and up. You'll use a lot of diapers. probably a lot more of sizes 1 and 2 then the higher up sizes. I'd get a couple cases of each of those. Wipes are another thing to buy by the case. you'll use them for everything, not just dirty diapers. I'd get one or two of the individual boxes of wipes though cause they're easier to pull wipes from and you can refill them with any brand. As far as brands, that's hard to say because you'll find what fits your baby best. I liked the huggies little snugglers newborn diapers. Pampers are a little bigger though and I just prefer pampers after size 1. Typically though I use Luvs. I like them. They work well, fit well, smell good, and are cheap. As far as wipes, I actually really like parents choice from Walmart. I did use huggies naturals when my first son was a newborn but again they're more expensive.
I would get a couple packs of newborn and a few packs of 1 then stock up on 2. I personally use Huggies little snugglers they work great and they come with codes that u log into the computer on Huggies.com and there worth points u save up to get free stuff:) after my girls outgrew Huggies snugglers I went to Huggies little movers.
My favorite brand have been the target brand diapers. I agree with not too many of size 1. They grow out of that size so quick.
As far as brand that's really up to you. With my first I used cheap store brands because of how expensive name brand diapers are and they work just as good. Pregnant with my second and probably gonna do the same. One good thing to do is buy a variety of sizes. They don't stay in one size for very long. I'd start with a couple newborn and get some size 1 and 2. If anyone else gets you any tell them you want different sizes not just newborn that way your sure to have plenty.
Yes do it if you have a baby shower they'll most like all buy you size 1 or newborn so stock up on 2 and 3 !
