Brown Staining on underwear??
Hello iam 26 pregnant with my second child and these past weeks ive been noticing brown stains on my underware ( I know tmi) but I wanted to know if it was normal or has anyone else experienced this? I have my drs appt in 2 weeks idk if I should schedule an earlier appt?
They said that a small part of my placenta may have pulled away but not enough to put my baby at risk... it's scary to think that. They said it could have been because I lift so much and put in 14 hour days at work. They don't really know why though.

I had brown spotting at 26 weeks and went to the ER... I was so scared. They kept me over night and thought I may have had a small placental abruption. My doc said I couldn't lift more than 10 lbs which is difficult because I'm a nurse. .. The baby is healthy though and I'm 31 weeks now...you should get checked though just to be on the safe side.

What is your urine color?
If its a dark color that means blood is in your urine...and if your bladder is weak (which in second pregnancy is common....thanks to baby #1lol) and leaking a little it will stain your underwear!
If your urine is dark contact your doctor this could lead to uti and they are super painful while pregnant!

I am glad you asked. I have had the same thing since Tuesday evening but didnt think it was blood but was perplexed since it would show in the spots where I would leak liquid a little. I am going to call my doctor too now.
I would just take it easy until talking to them, try to limit a lot of activities and lifting just be lazy. I had hematoma and bled brown blood for almost 3 weeks and the baby and I are fine! But they did out me on bedrest and some limitations for a while to be safe, yours could be nothing like that but I have heard of women doing to much while bleeding brown and miscarring. Don't want to stress you out more than already but just stay off your feet until they can tell ya what's going on!

Brown means old blood, not always a concern for doctors but if you start to cramp more than usual I would definitely try to go in sooner. I would call your doctor and tell them what has been going on so they can make the decision to see you or have you wait the 2 weeks
