question about the depo shot (birthcontrol).

Ok ladies so i ended up gttn the depo shot for bc. Well on monday was a week ago igot it my doc said it will strt working afther a week to use condoms tht week so like isaid monday was a week so me and my husband got intimit and we did not use a condom since doc said afther a week is fine . Do u guys thnk i will end up preg since they say eggs are fertil and iread on internet some bc dont work till afther a month???????

Oh wow im actually shocked cause my obgyn told me it would work in a week so js to use a condom tht week bt we waited afthr tht week to be intimit thnkng it would b fine since he said so.

My doctor said to use condoms for the first month  With the depo

My midwife told me it takes deposit three to four weeks to take effect and I should use another form of birth control for a month.

Birth control takes about a month to work i used to work at ob/gyn n we would always tell our pts to used another method of contraceptive for a mth
