baby shower question(s)

So, i am not due til the end of January. We havent told his side yet, he wants to wait till we know what were having. I have already decided i want to have two showers as our family's each live an hour away fron us in opposite directions.. my family is ecstatic as this is my first child. He has two kids already with two other women.. so he doesnt think they will be too thrilled with our pending addition.

I want to get my family's shower over with so we will know what we still need if/when i have a shower with his family.. is october too early to have my sides shower? I would be about 25-26 weeks depending on what week i have it in October.. its kinda stressin me out. I just want to be prepared..

I think November is good. That gives you 2 months to figure out how you gonna get the stuff you didn't get. I'm due in feb and shower 1st week of dec.

I was 29 weeks for my shower. You can have it whenever you want.

I'm due Jan.26th and I'm.thinking about having my shower the first week of November due to the holidays. I think Oct.is fine.

I'm due Jan 30th and having my shower Oct 11th... We have almost 11 yrs between my daughter and the new baby so I need time to get it all together lol starting from scratch and I agree Nov and Dec are way to busy with holidays and I have family from outta state that will be attending so I didn't want to chance the weather....

I'm having 2 baby showers.  One with all my Spanish speaking side of family mostly and one with my husband's English speaking family and mostly friends...

I find out the first week of September what were having and i need to have time to invite and get a head count and give people time to got to the store and all that...

October doesn't seem like a bad time. January would be cutting it real close to your due date. And November December are the holidays everyone's busy shopping and making plans and so forth.
