Nausea can occur at any time really and for some unlucky ladies, all the way through. However the most common time is during the first trimester so anywhere between around missed period and 13wks -ish. With my first I had evening sickness from 6 to 14wks. With this one I've had all day sickness from 4.5 to 16wks :)

I think everyone is different. But, for me, it was the worse from weeks 7-12. I'm 18 weeks now and still have bad days. My friend has two kids and never had ANY with either baby!! Lucky!

With my first I only threw up/felt sick 3 times, when I had eaten fast food late at night (at maybe about 8 weeks). I was working really late and then going to bed right after eating. I quit that almost immediately and never felt sick again for the rest of the pregnancy.
This time, I don't want to eat pretty much anything because I feel nauseous before and even after I eat. I've felt like this since about 4 weeks and am hoping I'll be lucky and it'll all go away in about a couple of weeks when I start the second trimester. Everyone is different and even one person's pregnancies can be drastically different!

How bad would you say it is?I know it's different for everyone...but is it more just feeling icky but can make it through work or stay home sick?

I'm currently home with our one year old, but I think I could work with this if I had a good supply of water and a stash of crackers. It would kind of suck because I feel gross and tired most of the time, but I've only been throwing up in the mornings. Some people get extremely sick to the point of dehydration and need hospitalization though. Thankfully, I only throw up when I wake up with an empty stomach before I eat... Sometimes after I eat breakfast also, but not always.
