All good points. As long as i dont have a unhealthy baby im fine with him being bigger.  Im seeing this alot lately with boys too.

i got in next week for the growth ultrasound. ill be almost 35 weeks. and  im not going to pay it too much attention since a lot of people say that its not 100% accurate. my frist son was born full term at 39 weeks. and was 5lbs 13oz. you will never know how much your child really weighs till they are born

i wouldn't say a bigger baby is healthier.. it just depends on the baby.. my first was 5 lbs full term i went to labor at 39 weeks we went home a day and a half later.. no oxygen or anything.. i'm getting kind of nervous about the size of my baby.. because i've never had a boy and people keep saying boys are bigger.. i went in the other day they did an ultrasound and said i had a lot of fluid and i'm not that big either so i'm hoping he will be a good small healthy baby

I had that happen with my first - they ended up doing a c-section at 37 weeks (I had a few other issues) - they didn't want to go any sooner for development - and even then my daughter was on Oxygen for a while before I got to see her. She ended up being 8lbs 1 oz - and other than the oxygen for a little while (which was a high altitude so they said it's pretty typical) she was perfectly fine. It'll turn out just fine :)

Well for 2 of my apts they messured me with the tape they use then decided to send me for a ultrasound to see if it was the baby big or too much amo fluid or just me lol. Sure enough its the baby. I just wasnt sure if other moms with the same thing happening to them went early or there whole 40. Im ready for anything just as long as he is healthy :)

Dont stress, big babies are generally healthier. Just make sure you prep emotionally to have the possibility of a c section

34 weeks they said my baby was 5lbs 6oz. But their measurements can be wrong but a pound or two. No worries. Due date will not change this late, only innthe very beginning. You still have nine weeks left. If baby is born at 35 there are risks because he would be a preemie.

They really have no accurate way to measure his weight...just his length. I wouldn't put too much stock into that. If he becomes too long or big for your belly they will take him but the weight is a rough, very rough, estimate...
