Ive discovered carrot cake fulfills the sweet tooth doesn't raise sugar much. I buy it in little 6oz servings at walamrt n eat 1/3 at a time also I drink a bottle of water with it.
Sugar free Popsicles are a huge help to me.
I'm a diabetic and 28 weeks...I cave sweets too lol. Try baking with splenda instead of sugar...they have a lot of splenda cake and cookie recipes.
It sounds crazy but its the most delicious thing I've had in my life:
If you have a magic bullet like thing that breaks down dry food to powder...
4 Seedless Dates
1 tlbsp Flax seed
3/4 cup Raw almonds
Put all this in the "food processor" or whatever you have.
Then roll the "dough" into balls munchkin doughnut size.
Roll into powdered coconut.
I'm not kidding this stuff is heaven! It's sweet and almost creamy amazing goodness and super duper healthy!
Also sugar free angel food cake, sugar free cool whip, strawberries and blueberries.... add all together lol... Yum! And not to bad for you!
