Yea, I was breast feeding exclusively and taking the mini pills (Jolivette) on top of it. Breast feeding isn't meant to be a form of birth control, but it does reduce your chances of getting pregnant again. Although I wasn't able to take the pills at the same time every day, so now here I am 23 wks with baby #2

I have and it didn't effect my breast milk at all, I breastfed my daughter till she was 7 months and my son until he was 6 months. The only complaint I have is that I got pregnant while on it, and I was taking it right.

Breast feeding doesn't always work as a birth control method so I wouldn't do that. That's how i got pregnant with number 2 and I was exclusively breast feeding as well. I had the Mirena put in, it's an IUD. It worked great for me and best thing about it, is you get no period and you can take it out at anytime if you want to get pregnant again. I loved it!

With my first I used breast feeding as birth control by exclusively breast feeding until my period came back around 6 months (it can't be used as a method once solids start or if you supplement). After that I just used condoms.
