Sounds like a great experience did you have a natural birth with your other 2 kids?
i just had baby #4 this past thurs via csection. she was exactly 40 weeks & was really hoping for another successful vbac but dr said that after due date the chances of it being successful dropped by a lot so i agreed to the csection hoping she woulf come out before hand but she was stubborn & hung in there. i wasnt at all excited the day of my csection i just felt disappointed about having another csection since my 1st 1 was an emergency csection & the experience sucked! but once i was there on the table all numbed up & my husband was able to come in the room i felt a little better & was more worried about my husband possibaly passing out & so i talked to him pretty much the whole time reassuring him that i couldnt feel anything & them i heard my daughters 1st cry & i almost cried feeling relieved that she was finally her. & absoulty loved that the hospital i went to encourages skin to skin right after birth so as soon as they were done cleaning her up & doing the apgar test i was able to hold her as they were stitching me back up & 1 of the nurses even took a pic of me my husband & our new daughter right then & there which i am thankful for :) staff was great during recovery & just had a great overall experience!
