mucus plug
Did I lose my mucus plug? I went to the restroom and when I wiped there was a lot of thick yellowish mucus. I'm only about 34 weeks pregnant and I'm not feeling anything out of the ordinary. If yes what do I do?
Weird!! The same thing happened to me today.I showed my hubby cuz it was something I haven't seen yet. I'm 35 weeks and yes it's completely normal, however, they can grow back and it doesn't mean anything will happen soon, but it might. Be prepared, you never know. :)
If it's not much trouble I'd say call your nurse line or doctor, if nothing else it might provide some peace of mind. I am currently 23 weeks and I've also had all kinds of weird discharge, my OB says it's okay.
If you lose your mucus plug apparently it can come out anything from clear to pink/brown but one lady told me it's not too uncommon to drop it early.
Never hurts to play it safe, do whatever helps you know that baby is okay.
