cervical cerclage

Anyone on here ever have a cervical cerclage? My son was early so they are putting one in. Any success stories? I'm nervous about the procedure.

Yes I have had it done 2 times and will be getting it done again for my thrid baby. The onlt part I hate is getting it taking out. But it's worth it both my babies were born full term.

Yes I've had two and they were both unsuccessful for me so with this pregnancy I have an abdominal cercloge placed in which is permanent and it works very well...I will be 36 weeks on Saturday. And with both vaginal cercloges I lost both babies...one was born at 23 weeks and died a month later and then I miscarried at 19 weeks...good luck 2 u

This is my 2nd one. I had my 1st 7 yrs ago with my son and now I'm 30 weeks pregnant with another boy. They worked fine for me. Good luck :)

Thank you ladies! I was put on bed rest at 24 weeks and my son made it to 28 weeks before I had to deliver him and is healthy he just has cerberal palsy. NICU is just tuff and hoping I at least make it to 34 weeks if not 36.
