birth weight?

Alright I have a silly question that still hasn't been answered but here it is. I was about 3pounds 12ounces when I was born and I was full term... would my daughter be smaller due to that? Or should I still expect a bigger baby because I Am a type 1 diabetic? Just kind of curious about this. So far she's weighing right where she should be for where I am in my pregnancy. I just got to 29 weeks and she's right about 2pounds.

Yeah I'll have to ask him more about his side of the family. I don't mind either way just want to know what to expect even tho I still have a ways to go

I was 5lbs and 4 oz when born full term, and my babies have all been between 7&8 lbs. I think it also has to do with what dad weighed at birth as well.

Well as far as I know my mom was a drug addict and an alcoholic so that makes sense for me being small but I'm adopted and I don't drink or anything so I'm just curious

Sounds like your mom had iugr and if your baby is growing on track then I'd say he/she should be fine... Idk if iugr is genetic but your Dr might be able to tell you more than I could
