Im pretty sure today will suck. Im in a new state, living at a womans shelter, and no friends. My only console today is im in my second trimester and my son is healthy. I know all this pain is worth it for him. But i cant help but truly wish i had one friend just to show compassion and just hug me and tell me happy bday. Instead i am awake with morning sickness and the shelter night shift lady told me happy birthday. Im just so down and alone which ***** for any pregnant woman. Im a libra, im usually so social. This year my life is upside down

you're definitely not alone cuz u have all of us thinking of you and most importantly you have ur lil baby sharing with you every moment of this special day.
why don't you treat yourself to a piece of cake, a walk in a park and maybe do something handmade (knitting, sewing, poem writing etc) for your lil one. you'll feel so happy and proud  :-)

I am sorry you are feeling so alone today & I wish I could come give you a hug & wish you happy birthday in person. I have felt very down & alone through most of this pregnancy because I lost my dad in Jan. who was one of the most important people to me & my husband has been depressed & distant because of our lack of money. So I felt very lonely this yr. on my birthday. The only thing that made me feel better was going & getting myself a sundae that was about as big as my head so maybe you could go do a lil something like that for yourself. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Happy birthday.  I know how you feel with my son i was all alone and spent the day in dhs, on top of that i didn't have a car and i had to walk to and from seven month pregnant.but don't worry everything will work out in the end. Tomorrow is my birthday and im so broke i can't afford to do anything. But i looked up my local restaurants and signed up for freebies on your birthday and im getting a free seafood dinner.try doing that ,maybe that would cheer you up. Happy Birthday sweetheart. I've been alone through one of my pregnancies and it was very up and down. You just have to keep pushing through. Remember this too shall pass. Place your hand on your chest. You're here for a purpose. Give yourself a makeover.Look at yourself in the mirror. Tell yourself you are strong and beautiful and what a blessing to have a baby soon to be born. Make plans for this time next year. Get excited for the future. Every time a negative thought comes into play, shew it away and replace it with a positive. Do something just for you today and remember just because you dont have anybody physically there, yiu have plenty if people who care about you. Just smile:))

Happy Birthday!!! ... My bday was in June and I spent most of the day alone with continuous vomiting and the second half in the emergency room with an IV... Its just the year for bad birthdays I guess. It will get better though, I promise.
