I would personally go the csection, vbac sounds risky in that scenario. I had one last year and am having my second later this year due to my complications and it certainly wasn't half as bad as it was made out it would be to me. However, if you've never had surgery before I can understand why you would nervous. Maybe talk to your dr and see what alternatives he feels would be safe to try before resulting in a csection?
Well...since you know the risks then i would talk to your dr about that, you may be able to give vaginal a try but be very prepared for a emergency c section, still you have a chance to be able to deliver normally its just a very low chance.
Regardless your dr is just doing it for the safety of your baby! Its ultimately your decision. Also gender in no way dictates how big/how small a child will be
It's for the safety of your baby. With my first I was told I would need a c-section but I wanted to try vaginal delivery and ended up with an emergency c-section. I've had two and I healed quickly I was up walking around doing things for myself. Talk to your doctor to find out exactly why your son was stuck and go from there. If there is nothing physically wrong with you then it is up to you. Praying for safe delivery for you and baby.
My first got his shoulders stuck. Its called shoulder something. And they couldn't get him out resulting him being in the NICU. I'm.having a girl.this time... and they say girls are smaller than boys. Dr. Said 90% of the time if a baby gets stuckore than likely the 2nd will. I just don't like the idea of being awake while someone slices my belly open. Freaks me out completely
Why has your doctor scheduled you for a cesarean? Do you or your baby face medical issues that would cause vaginal birth to be unsafe?
It truly depends on the reasoning for your doc wanting you to have a c section... If it's medically needed there's no reason to not and risk having an emergency one...
Why would your doctor want a c section?????
