I fell pregnanct when DS was 6 months and i continued to sucessfully breast feed him until I lost my supply he was about 10 months old. There is no danger in doing this women do it all the time. As long as you feel okay with it and want to continue do it. The contractions in your uterus that happen can be equivalent to having an orgasm during sex.
Thank you ladies soo much :)
If shes 9 months you should try to give her formula until shes one just to be in the safe side
Well, like you said, BFing does contract the uterus, so there is a small risk of miscarriage early on. However, being that you are not solely BFing, you should be fine. I'm currently 35+ wks preg with my fourth and I was breastfeeding my now 16 month old when I became pregnant. My ob advised me to wean by son by the time I became 20 weeks pregnant, so that's what I did and my pregnancy is still fine. My ob warned that BFing past 20 weeks gestation would put me at risk for preterm labor.
I have a friend that did it. They told her as long as she stopped by her 3rd trimester she would be fine. But there is a slight chance of going into labor. But not likely
