breastfeeding???

I just had my baby 2 weeks ago and my baby will not latch on! Is it because i don't have much milk, but i'm still leaking? Any suggestions what i can do from the alrrady moms as i still hope i can breastfeed?

My baby never latched on even now at 6 weeks old. I use the Medela nipple shield and it works wonders. The nipple is large enough for your baby to feel it in its mouth.

Be patient and consistent.  They will get hungry and will need to eat. In the mean time you can pump to keep your supply up. Maybe the baby needs to get used to your nipple (try a nipple shield) my son didn't like my nipple. Worse come to worse u may have to bottle feed your baby breast milk like my sister does. Good luck and don't give up

Could be a number of things. Some babies have what's called a tongue tie that prevents them from being able to properly latch. I'd call your local lactation consultant and talk with your pediatrician immediately.  The sooner you guys can get to the route of what's going in the happier you'll be. Don't give up!
