Id go to news/media ;) if he's going to be an a**, then let everyone know... idk, thats the mood im in right now lol. Im sorry you're dealing with this, I hope you can get it straightened out soon.
It isn't illegal or anything. It is only ethically wrong. With only working for 2 months, you did not pass the 90 day probationary period. If u worked for longer than 6 months at another job you might be able to collect unemployment but the job that fired you can disbut it for if u are more than 2 month pregnant that would be withholding information to get hire.
A lot of places have an "at will" policy which means they can fire you at anytime for any reason completely legally. It does suck but...sometimes that's just the way it is
And depending on your state. Like Texas is an at will employment state and they can fire you for no reason. And if your in a probationary period it maybe legal. Go file for unemployment, see if you'll qualify for Medicaid, food stamps and WIC.
This link might help you get started. The laws only apply to companies with more than 15 employees. There is also a link where you can click on your state and see what the laws are in your state.

It's not necessarily illegal.
Depending on the size of the company, your employment status (salary? Hourly?) the type of work you do, this may be completely legal.
You need help specific to your situation.
Super illegal. You should be able to collect unemployment so do the paperwork for that right away and fight for it. You could always talk to a lawyer. Since when people are fired there is certain steps a company has to take. Like paper warnings and documentation. They probably won't have that since they did it over the phone. They can try to say you were on a probationary period since you've only been there 2 months. But that isn't a reason to be fired. I'm not too knowledgeable about this but good luck. I hope you find a way around this.
See the HR or EO departments
That's totally illegal. Take action through human resources or get a lawyer.
Call unemployment?? Or a lawyer. That's not right.
How far along are you? When did you start working there?
