calcium intake

Hello ladies. I am not a milk drinker, hate it always have. So I ask my obgyn about taking supplements, but she said my prenatals have it not to worry. But am still a bit uneasy about it. So I was wondering what some of you moms do for calcium intake other than milk. Thanks ladies love your input:)

I take calcium supplements for my preeclamplsia but in also have yoghurt and custard with fruit every day. I keep track of my diet with an app, not trying to loose weight but have to watch my fat intake for my liver, and I find I reach my calcium in take most days not including the supplement.

K. Yogurt has the most calcium Mozarella is second.  Sardines 3rd. Milk isn't even in top 5 ;) you want to be looking at 30% daily recommended amount and over. Yog sits at 40. Sardines 33.

I am lactose intolerant so I drink almond milk (well I use it on my cereal, don't normally just drink it) and it actually has twice the amount of calcium than regular cows milk. Have you tried it or otger milk alternatives? I can't speak for other kinds (soy, etc.) because I only drink/like almond milk. Not sure the calcium content of other options.

My doctor said I need to drink at least half liter of milk everyday. And better take supplements if you can't make it. Because the baby will draw calcium from your bones if you don't have enough intake. And it cause you bone problems later. I m taking supplements to ensure,as I m not a milk drinker or diary fan.
