Menstrual like cramps at 28 weeks

Hey there everyone,  this is my first time posting. I have been having period like cramps for about 4 weeks now but for the past 3 days, they haven't gone away. I feel like I'm on my period all day. I went to the doctor on Tuesday and I was 1cm. Do any of you think that I will have my baby premature?  I'm 28w5d.

They told me exactly what they told you. When they checked me to see if I had dilated any, and she saw I was 1cm, she told me that she didn't think I would go into premature labor but I feel as though she rushed to tell me that. I am having cramps as I write this and at times they get painful enough for me to want to take a deep breath you know?

I'm doing the same and I have kids as well. Doctor told me to take it easy and even said no sex but they swear with kids I can be laying down all day.  When I went to the hospital they basically told me the same thing rest , plenty of liquids, eat healthy , and they gave me a sheet that said if I get any of those symptoms to run to the hospital. I been cramping since about 24 weeks.  My doctor said anything after 24 weeks we can deliver but I don't want a premature baby at all so I'm trying my best to not let it happen.  What did they tell you?

I have just tried to relax and drink lots of water when i feel the pains the most. I have a 4 year old so it's a little hard to try and do nothing while i feel this way. I have another appointment on the 13th so i hope i haven't dilated more. When you went to the Hospital, what did they tell you to do? How long have you been feeling the cramps?

I've had the same thing but I haven't dilated yet and at the hospital when I went they said I was at risk for premature labor. Let's hope not bc our babies need to be in there as long as possible. I'm 27 weeks by the way. What are you doing for your pains?
