caught a cold
I'm always super hot and I sleep with my air on most nites. Now I think I've caught a darn cold. I can't catch a break lol. Can we take dayquil/nyquil?

Thank y'all so much. I guess I'll be taking Tylenol cold. I definitely forgot about the alcohol in Nyquil.

Nyquil and dayquil contain acetaminophen (Tylenol) as their antipyretic which is fine, however they also contain dextromethorhpan and dayquil has pseudoephedrine in it, both of which aren't safe during pregnancy. Also liquid nyquil contains alcohol
Nyquil has alcohol in it so i know that was one of the reasons she told me not to take it....and both nyquil and dayquil i believe may have aspirin or something along those lines in them which isnt recommended during pregnancy.
Hmmm im pretty sure my Dr. told me no nyquil or dayquil when i had a cold over the winter but she did say it was fine to take tylenol cold.
