no movement... trying to be patient

hi mama's,
I'm a ftm currently 17-6 and I haven't felt any movement yet. I'm staying calm but with family asking me all the time if I have yet it's hard not to get a little anxious. I have felt a tightening sensation many times but I know this isn't the flutter I'm expecting. my question to y'all is how long with your first was it until you distinctly felt them move? and does anyone know what the tightening sensation is? I've had that happening for the past month. thank you!

im a ftm and felt the baby early. posterior placenta so no cushion for ever blow. lol. so i think its completely normal to not feel anything until after 20 weeks. you should have another ultrasound soon were they look at the babies anatomy as well as the location of the placenta.  if you've got an anterior one it will block babies kicks.

Ftm's usually feel baby after 20weeks, i know i did with my first. Don't worry, you'll feel baby soon. Tightening could be Braxton hicks?
