I wanted to ask if it would be ok to color my Hair while I'm 17 weeks pregnant.....is it safe? Please advise

I agree with everyone except the first lady. My SIL and most of the females in her family are cosmetologists and my dr knows I dye my hair and they all say its perfectly safe. I wanna say my SIL actually said nothing in the first trimester, full color/bleach in the 2nd trimester and foils in the 3rd but I could be wrong on that. Regardless, a well ventilated area is key.

I just used ammonia free hair dye. Works just as well but it's not as toxic.

Even a permanent is fine in a well ventilated area.

Totally fine, but do it in a salon. Let them know you're pregnant, because the hormones can mess with the color

My doctor said it's fine, just not to get a perm.

My Doctor said it is fine as long as you are in a ventilated room. You just shouldn't in the first trimester which you are already past.

No its not at all while pregnant bc toxins go through your scalp and into your body therfor to the baby
