Yeah, you will probably have to exfoliate it w baby oil and a baby hair comb. That's what I had to do 15years ago w my son.
Coconut oil helpsa 2. I find it less mess than olive oil
My mom recommend getting a soft toothbrush and gently massaging the oil in to baby's head. Let it soak in for a few minutes then gently wash baby. It might take a few washes over several days but it works.
Do not scratch, you take some of the scalp of which is already really thin. My daughter had it severely as a baby. All you can do is keep it hydrated and wash with dandruff shampoo. That is what my pediatrician told me. She is now 10. She gets bad dandruff I'd her head is not moisturized all the time. Some kids grow out of it and no others don't.
Wen my kids had it i used olive oil. I used to use baby oil bt it wasnt working n it was cumin bck. Dnt scratch it out jus gently comb it out due to the baby soft spot..
Google essential oils for cradle cap. I forget what I used ( 3 years ago ) but it worked very well and fast!
I hope I'm not hurting him I wish it would go a way.
