baby #2:14 weeks

Anyone else on baby #2 that just isnt ready to do this again. My son is 17 months and I really am not as excited for this pregnancy. I feel terrible about it.  I am not happy about gaining weight since I wasnt fully at my pre-baby weight yet. I was 3lbs away. I feel selfish but I never got back to the point of feeling good about myself and how I look and now I am in this again.  :(

I can totally can relate. I was pregnant with my second 3 months after I delivered my first. I did not even get the chance to lose half of the weight when I got pregnant again. I gained 50 lbs with my first and another 50 lbs with my second. So you can imagine what I have to deal with after the birth of my second. But rest assured though the weight lost after my second was slow but I did eventually lost them all. I was back to pre pregnancy and people commented how I did not look like I have had 2 kids at all. Now I am with my 3rd and worry less about weight gain because I realized that the weight will eventually come off and I just need to focus on eating the right thing and take care of myself for this baby. Hope that helps.

Thank you for responding.  It helps to know there is someone out there who can relate to how I feel.

Ladies look up jade beall photography on Facebook. Her photos really helped me to be more relaxed about my body and feel good about being a mum. Also I had to really make an effort and go for a walk/ swim everyday and it helped me to cope with feeling low. Yoga also helps a lot. Hope you'll feel better soon.

Idk if this is common but I am certainly feeling the same way. I have a 2 1\2 year old who I gained 70lbs with b/c I let myself go during that pregnancy. I worked so hard and over the course of a year I got down to even below the weight I was when I started. This pregnancy was a big oops and now I'm feeling a little depressed about gaining the weight again even though  trying not to let it get that out of control this time. I'm definitely not excited for this one and every time I talk with anyone about it I just sound like a big a-hole so I fake it. I'm sure that as time passes I will get more and more excited and fall in love with this one as much as I'm in love with my daughter but I have a feeling it's just going to take a bit longer this time.
