Memo is a good one for a girl or boy and safary. Or just go neutral colors like brown, blue, yellow ect
Oh! And I ment to give you credit cuz I don't know if I could wait to find out. I'm going in here in about 2 weeks to find out. My doc wouldn't let me unless I hit 18 weeks minimum first.
I saw a black and white themed nursery on HGTV that was gorgeous that could work. They added color by putting handles on things that were animals. I think searching through pics on Pinterest is a great idea. You can morph a few of their rooms together to get exactly what you want. As for boy names....any ideas on what you want?? Names that are traditional, unique names?
I'm doing grey and yellow. So soothing!
Well the Dr and they mall said there was. Nothing between the legs.. but the hospital wasn't sure but looked like boys. But said it could have been the cord.
I like a sea theme, with fish. They have some really nice ones and they are usually blue and green but can definetly go for either sex since they are fish. We are talking about painting Gray because it is sippossed to be a nuetral color, i figured then no matter what color bedding we pick it will match. Good Luck
Question... When the doctor and mall tech told you girls, did they just say they were girls or say that they saw two/three lines and so they were girl? Did the hospital tech say that she saw a specific part on each babe or just said they were boys?
My daughter's room at our old place was painted light green. I think my reasoning for that was something I had read about cool greens helping babies sleep through the night or something. Neutral and cute!
I think nature themes are gender neutral. I've seen some absolutely gorgeous rooms done in jungle themes or oceanic themes. I have a client that had a northwood's theme for her baby girl. However I also agree with Rockrose, you don't have to have a theme at all. Gender neutral colors are yellows, oranges, browns, greens, and soft blues (can be as well). As well as black, white and grey.
Thank you.. that sounds really pretty.
You don't have to have a theme for your nursery if you don't want.
I've seen some really gorgeous nurseries on Pinterest that are turquoise, black and white and that would go for either boys or girls.
Happy planning!
