deli meat

I was craving a turkey sandwich, and it's my understanding that it's okay to eat provided the deli meat is microwaved. So I microwaved the sandwich for 1 minute and 30 seconds. I'm hoping that was more than enough time and all was okay?

My obgyn told me that lunch meat is fine as long as it has no time to sit at room temperature. It needs to go straight from the fridge to your plate and mouth.

Suposedly ypu only need to heat the meat for about 15 to 20 seconds. Lysteria is on cold deli meat. I was cautious with my son but the dr hasnt mentioned it this pregnancy.  I havent thought about it either

They say to microwave it until it's "steaming hot" I usually just go to subway or wherever and have them stick it in the toaster oven there for a minute or so then I go home and eat it. Seems to work just fine. But if you're making a sandwich at home a minute or 2 will be fine!
