I had this with all of my pregnancies I tired everything listed nothing worked to where I could function then my sis a massage therapist said to lay flat on the ground and put a tennis ball where it hurts it takes the pain away instantly abd its the cheapest fix. Hope this helped.

Im at 21w2d and i have it on my left side. I searched for pregnancy yoga andfound videos i like. Im bad at sticking to a stretching routine, but i can stick to yoga. It helped me!! I made it all the way to my next chiropractor appointment without needing to go in early. And i would agree with going to the chiropractor...at the very least to get "reset". Ice also helped me more often than heat but heat has worked a few times, and my mom is a fan of ice then heat right away for a few minutes then back to ice. Partly i think you have to find what relieves it for you.

Hey...I had the same issue and it is excruciating pain....go to the chiropractor they will reset ur joints that have collapsed caused ur pinched nerve....Also do not use heat...only ice as long as u can.... This is the most important part.... No cleaning, sweeping, bending etc....but it works 2 to 3 days ull be back to norm.

I went through this as well..... My doctor recommended stretching, heating pad, warm bath/shower and tylenol. Those helped a little. I've also heard to try a chiropractic.

When the day is over I use a hot rice pack that I made (put uncooked rice in a sock & tied it off) throw it in the microwave for 2 minutes and I would put it on my lower back. I would help a lot.

Try to constantly try to shift not adding more pressure to the area. Also massage the area and use a heating pad. I'm 34 weeks & still get it periodically on my left side.
