I am having the same problem.  Well, almost the same.  I had a sac and a yolk and last ultrasound (a week ago) there was no baby. When I spoke with the Nurse Practioner on the phone, she said my HCG levels were high enough for a baby to have shown up.  Now I am waiting on my next ultrasound to see if it's there or not. My husband is very positive, I'm not and this is causing a lot of drama in our home.  Just looking on something here to cheer me up.  Sounds like in some of your cases, the ultrasound and blood levels were not precise. That sounds like the situation I am in. Hope they can find our baby in the next ultrasound.

Yes could your dates maybe be wrong? Maybe you're not quite as far along as you thought? I felt pregnant for weeks and thought I was at least 8-9 weeks with my second but the ultrasound showed I was only 6!

I have heard of women who have had empty ultra sounds that early and it was simply because in their specific situation, it was just too early to tell. They waited a few more weeks and went back and everything was fine.
